The Vikings signed their third-round draft pick yesterday when defensive back Marcus McCauley agreed to a four-year, $2.45-million contract. McCauley played college ball at Fresno State, and he signed in time for yesterday’s check-in at training camp in Mankato. McCauley and the others in camp go through conditioning tests today. All players who pass the test begin practice tomorrow. Still unsigned are first-round draft pick Adrian Peterson and second-rounder Sidney Rice.
