Peterson Now a Happy Camper

Vikings first-round draft pick Adrian Peterson says he’s just glad to get back to playing football.  Peterson took part in his first practices with the Vikings yesterday in Mankato, less than a day after signing a five-year, $40-million contract.  Peterson says he got little rest after rolling into Mankato Sunday night and getting up early yesterday for meetings with the coaching staff.  The former Oklahoma running back says he feels like he’s starting all over again.
