Depth Chart Shows Wade and Williamson as Starting WR’s

The Vikings depth chart for Friday’s preseason opener vs the Rams is out, and the two starting wide outs are Bobby Wade and Troy Williamson.  The team is still searching for that position, and it looks as if Wade and Wiliamson will get their first crack at the starting job and then the team will move on if they can’t get the job done.  Behind Wade right now is Sidney Rice, Cortez Hankton, Martin Nance and Todd Lowber.  Behind Williamson on the other side is Aundrae Allison, Jason Carter, Chandler Williams, Justin Surrency and Billy McMullen.  Wade last season had just 33 catches for 461 yards and two TD’s. In his career he has 101 catches, which would be good for one season for a number one.  As for Williamson, he had just 37 catches for 455 yards and zero TD’s.  The former number one draft choice in just two seasons has just 61 catches.
