DT Evans Still Out for Vikings

It’s not know when defensive tackle Fred Evans will rejoin the Vikings. Evans remains in Florida, where he pleaded no contest to felony charges stemming from an arrest in Miami in June. Because the case is still pending, Evans can’t leave until authorities in Minnesota accept his application to live in the state. Evans also has a court date in Texas next month to face misdemeanor marijuana possession charges. Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier says the hope is that Evans won’t miss much time.
