Starter Still Not Set for Vikings
Posted by Matt Loede on September 20th, 2007 filed in NewsVikings head coach Brad Childress is waiting until the end of the week before deciding on his starting quarterback for Sunday’s game at Kansas City. He wants Tarvaris Jackson in the lineup, but the second-year pro is still recovering from a groin strain suffered in the loss at Detroit. Jackson did not practice yesterday, while Kelly Holcomb and Brooks Bollinger alternated taking snaps with the first team. Holcomb was obtained just before the regular season started, while Bollinger played in the overtime period against the Lions.
