Injured Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson says the offense has to stop beating itself. Jackson says the coaches can call any play they want, but if the execution is bad, it won’t work. The Vikings’ offense has been sputtering in the first three games of the season, similar to last year when Brad Johnson was the starting quarterback. Jackson might miss Sunday’s game against Green Bay because of a groin injury suffered two weeks ago in the loss to Detroit. If he can’t go, Kelly Holcomb would start for the second game in a row.
