Packers coach Mike McCarthy isn’t too happy with comments made by Vikings safety Darren Sharper. Earlier this week, Sharper said he wanted to help Packers quarterback Brett Favre break the NFL’s all-time interception record. Favre is three away from that record, but is also one touchdown pass away from holding that all-time mark. Sharper played eight seasons in Green Bay, and some of his former teammates still with the Packers says it’s normal for him to talk trash. NFL officials say they’ll stop the game and honor Favre whenever breaks the touchdown pass record.
