Taylor and Peterson to Continue to Rotate

Taylor upside down vs GB

Brad Childress says he’ll continue to rotate running backs Chester Taylor and Adrian Peterson when the team resumes its schedule October 14th at Chicago. Peterson rushed for 112 yards in the loss to Green Bay, but only carried the ball twice for 12 yards in the second half. Childress says by having two quality running backs, the Vikings’ offense always has fresh legs in the backfield. He also says Taylor is more skilled in some areas than Peterson, who’s in his first season but leads the N-F-C in rushing with 383 yards.

Why is Coach Chilly so set in his ways? It could be the death of him as Minnesota’s head coach . . .I agree two skilled RB’s are a good theory.. but I don’t think Childress and the boys have the play calling talents to best decide who should be in when and having two big shots always leads to second guessing the decision and too many what if’s after a bad series of plays.
