Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson says he’s ready to get back to playing football following the Vikings’ bye week. Jackson hasn’t played since suffering a groin injury in the loss at Detroit on September 16th. After getting treatment at Vikings headquarters last week, Jackson took a trip to Alabama and Mississippi, where he received further treatment at his alma mater and got the chance to visit with his family. The highlight was getting to see his newborn son, Tarvaris The Second, for the first time. The Vikings play at Chicago on Sunday.
