Herrera a Starter on the O-Line for Now
Posted by Matt Loede on October 16th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Vikings players have today off, and when they return to Winter Park tomorrow, Anthony Herrera will find himself on top of the depth chart. Coach Brad Childress says Herrera earned the post after playing well on the offensive line during Sunday’s win at Chicago. He says it appears Herrera is settling into his role with the team. Herrera joined the Vikings as a practice player in 2005, and started a few games last season. He’s taken the spot of Artis Hicks, who started the first four games this year.

The game against Dallas didn’t turn out so well. Anyone that thought Herrera made the difference in chicago musta rode the short bus. Hicks shoulda been in the game. I don’t know if it woulda got us a W, but Hicks is better. He could be better but didn’t deserve to lose his spot. The left side is overrated and overpaid. Hicks is natural on the left side. Get ride of Mckinney, move artis over there. Save a ton of money, and have money to improve in other areas that are in bad need of improvement. You can’t handle the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
