Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week.  The rookie rushed for a team record 224 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bears at Soldier Field.  Peterson also had nine receiving yards and 128 yards on kickoff returns for a combined 361 yards in the win.  He is the first Vikings rookie to be given the NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors since Randy Moss in 1998.
