Jackson’s Fractured Finger May Sideline Him Sunday
Posted by Matt Loede on October 25th, 2007 filed in NewsA frustrated Tarvaris Jackson says his broken right index finger may keep him from playing in Sunday’s game between the Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson says it’s hard to throw a tight spiral with the injury, and if he can’t control the football he shouldn’t be out there. Jackson has already missed two games with a groin injury, which still hasn’t fully healed. Injuries never kept him out of games until he turned pro. Vikings coach Brad Childress says if Jackson can’t play, Kelly Holcomb would start at quarterback against the Eagles at the Metrodome.
