Vikings punter Chris Kluwe signed a six-year contract extension that keeps him with the team through the 2013 season. The deal includes a $1.7-million signing bonus, making him one of the 10 best-paid punters in the NFL. Kluwe was signed as an undrafted free agent by Seattle in 2005, but was cut on the last day of training camp. The Vikings snapped him up, and he ranked second in the NFC in punting yardage during his rookie year. Kluwe this season is averaging more than 44 yards-per-kick and leads the league with 18 punts inside the 20 yard line.
