It is still not known who will be the starting quarterback when the Vikings play the Chargers on Sunday.  Team officials hope to make a decision internally today, but it could be the weekend before the fans know.  Coach Brad Childress says, if he’s healthy, Tarvaris Jackson will be the starter.  Jackson has been nursing a fractured right index finger.  Veteran backup Kelly Holcomb suffered a neck injury in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles.  Brooks Bollinger appears to be the only healthy option for the Vikes, who say the third-stringer will start if Jackson does not.
