Deadline to Sell Out Chargers Game Looming

The Vikings have until noon today to sell out Sunday’s game against San Diego, or the clash at the Metrodome won’t be shown locally on television. The Vikings have sold out 99 straight home games, and at last count fewer than two-thousand tickets remained. The local station slated to carry the game on Sunday, W-C-C-O in Minneapolis, would lose 250-thousand dollars in ad revenue if the game is blacked out. Earlier this season, the station broadcasting the game between the Vikings and Atlanta bought out several hundred tickets to avoid a T-V blackout.
