WR Williamson to Miss Today’s Game Following Grandmothers Passing

The Vikings wide out core will be even more thinner today as Troy Williamson will be out after the passing of his grandmother earlier this week.  Williamson missed the entire week of practice for today’s game with personal reasons, and will not be active for the contest.  This season he has 9 catches for 159 yards and one score while starting six of seven games.  Bobby Wade, the teams other starting wide out, is hurting right now with a knee injury.  He is the teams leading receiver with 23 catches for 272 yards.  Sidney Rice and fifth-rounder Aundrae Allison may end up starting at wide out, with just one backup – Robert Ferguson.
