Jackson to be Held Back Until More Tests are Taken
Posted by Matt Loede on November 6th, 2007 filed in NewsTarvaris Jackson’s spirits are high after suffering a concussion in Sunday’s win over San Diego, but Vikings coach Brad Childress says that doesn’t mean he’s close to returning to action. Childress says Jackson showed up smiling at Vikings headquarters in Eden Prairie, and joking that he was Donovan McNabb. But T-Jack still has to pass a series of tests before he’s allowed to practice again. As a precaution, the Vikings are brining in several quarterbacks for a tryout. If Jackson can’t make it, reserve Brooks Bollinger may get the start against the Packers.
