WCCO Looking For Help to Avoid Blackout
Posted by Matt Loede on November 14th, 2007 filed in NewsA Twin Cities television station (W-C-C-O) is looking for help to buy the remaining tickets to Sunday’s Vikings-Raiders game, which would avoid a broadcast blackout. Twice before this season a ticket buyout prevented a blackout and preserved local television broadcast revenue. There are about 35-hundred tickets available for Sunday’s game against Oakland. The deadline to sell out the game is noon tomorrow, or it can’t be shown on local television. The Vikings have officially sold out 100 straight games at the Metrodome.
