Vikings running back Adrian Peterson underwent an MRI on his injured knee yesterday. Coach Brad Childress says the knee is healing and Peterson will be practicing this week. The rookie tore his lateral collateral ligament on November 11th in the loss to Green Bay. Childress says if practice goes well Peterson will play on Sunday against Detroit.
