Rookie running back Adrian Peterson says there was plenty of trash-talking on the field during yesterday’s 42-10 win over the Detroit Lions at the Metrodome. A-D says the exchanges didn’t bother him, but Vikings coach Brad Childress says it appeared all the Lions defense did was make Peterson mad. Peterson says his knee felt fine after the game, and he doesn’t expect it to give him problems the rest of the week. He plans to keep wearing a brace on the knee for the rest of the season.
