Vikings Hit The Road To Battle 49’ers

The upstart Vikings will look to keep things rolling this week when they travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers at Monster Field.  The Vikings have won three straight to climb back into the NFC playoff hunt.  They are one of four 6-and-6 teams trying to claim one of the two wild card spots.  Tarvaris Jackson threw for two scores and rookie Adrian Peterson rushed for two more in Minnesota’s 42-10 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 13.  The 49ers are tied for the second-worst record in the NFL at 3-and-9.  The Niners suffered their ninth loss in 10 games after falling 31-14 to the Carolina Panthers last week.  Trent Dilfer threw two touchdowns, but was picked off four times in defeat.  The 49ers won the last meeting 9-3 last season in San Fran.
