Chad Greenway gets a third quarter sack

Chester Taylor rushed for 101 yards, including an 84-yard touchdown scamper, as the Vikings destroyed the 49ers 27-7 at Monster Park.  Tavaris Jackson completed 16-of-25 passes for 163 yards and a score, as the Vikes improved to 7-and-6 on the year.  Kevin Williams ran back an 18-yard interception for a score early in the first quarter to put the Vikings up quickly, and they never looked back, rising to sixth place in the NFC playoff picture.  Ryan Longwell added two field goals in the win.  Third-string quarterback Shaun Hill threw for 180 yards and a touchdown in relief of Trent Dilfer, who suffered a head injury right before the half.  Arnaz Battle scored San Francisco’s only touchdown on a five-yard pass late in the fourth to prevent the shutout, as the Niners fell to 3-and-10 with the setback.
