Sellout Expected for Season Finale vs Skins
Posted by Matt Loede on December 20th, 2007 in News
A ticket buyout is not expected to be needed for the Vikings to sell out their home finale against the Washington Redskins. There are fewer than one-thousand seats left for Sunday night’s game. Three times this season, area corporations and television stations chipped in to buy enough tickets to avoid a local broadcast blackout. Not airing the game would cost local TV stations hundreds of thousands of dollars in ad revenue. The Vikings have officially sold out 103 straight games at the Metrodome.
