Vikings to Be Scoreboard Watching Sunday
Posted by Matt Loede on December 26th, 2007 in News
Forgive Vikings players if they keep one eye on the out-of-town scoreboard while their playing at Denver on Sunday. That game kicks off at the same time the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys begin their meeting at FedEx Field in Maryland. The only way the Vikings can make the N-F-C playoffs is to beat Denver and for the Redskins to lose to the Cowboys. Vikings coach Brad Childress says the players must focus on the Broncos, but he won’t ask Denver coach Mike Shanahan not to post the Washington game on the Invesco Field scoreboard. The Vikings resume practice today in Eden Prairie after taking the past two days off.
