Childress Declines Comment on Scott’s Arrest

Brad Childress isn’t saying anything about the arrest of defensive end Darrion Scott, who was cited for marijuana possession earlier this week in Charleston, West Virginia. Childress says he wants to talk with Scott before making any comment. Scott has been on the injured list since breaking his foot in October, and was rehabilitating at Winter Park before heading home to West Virginia for the holidays. He’s an unrestricted free agent after the season ends. The Vikings play their regular-season finale at Denver on Sunday, and need a win and a loss by Washington to make the playoffs.
