Vikings players and coaches have elected the team’s most valuable players. On offense, running back Adrian Peterson was named the MVP. Peterson led the NFL in rushing for most of the season, but missed two games due to a knee injury. He broke the single game rushing record on November 4th when he rushed for 296 yards against San Diego. Linebacker E.J Henderson was named the defensive MVP after leading the Vikings with 138 tackles. The special team’s MVP, Heath Farwell, had 30 tackles and recovered two onside kicks this season.
