Udeze Reportedly Has Cancer

Vikings defensive end Kenechi Udeze has reportedly been diagnosed with leukemia.  According to KSTP-TV, the 24-year-old is undergoing tests and his doctors are trying to determine the severity of the cancer.  It may be a couple of weeks before the test results are known.  Udeze played in all 16 games for the Vikes last season, recording 47 tackles and five sacks.  He has 117 career tackles and 11 sacks over 51 NFL games.  Udeze was drafted out of USC in the 2004 NFL Draft.  He was part of the Trojans’ 2003 national championship team.
