In a bad bit of news for his career, it appears that Vikings defensive end Erasmus James may never play another down.  Coach Brad Childress said Tuesday that he’s not sure if James will ever be able to play again, due to three knee surgeries in the last 12 months. Reports say that the team will take whatever they can get from James in 2008. With Kenechi Udeze (leukemia) even less likely to help, defensive end remains a big need area for the club.
