OTA’s End for the Vikings

Coach Brad Childress says they got plenty done during Off-season Training Activities at Winter Park.  The last of the five voluntary workouts took place yesterday.  Childress says they got quality learning without anyone getting hurt.  Starting quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson did not take part in yesterday’s workouts.  Childress says both were attending to personal matters.  Center Matt Birk and running back Chester Taylor missed every workout.  Birk is trying to get a contract extension and Taylor had family issues.  Both are coming to minicamp, which starts June 6th.
