Broadcast reports indicate if Brett Favre can’t work out a deal to play another season for the Green Bay Packers, his second choice would be to join the Vikings.  The third choice would be to accept the Packers offer of 20-million-dollars over ten years to stay retired. Packers officials say trading Favre to another N-F-C North team is a last resort.  Vikings coach Brad Childress says he hasn’t heard anything about Favre crossing the border.  Once Favre is reinstated by the N-F-L, the Packers have 24 hours to decide whether to restore him to the roster or trade him
