Vikings center Matt Birk missed practice Wednesday because of the stomach flu. Rookie John Sullivan took Birk’s place with the first team at Mankato. It’s not known if Birk will practice today. The Vikings are getting ready for their second game of the preseason, a matchup against the Ravens in Baltimore on Saturday night.

Following a preseason opening loss to Seattle Friday night, the Minnesota Vikings are back at training camp. This is the final week of camp for the Vikes. They will break Friday night and travel to Baltimore for preseason action against the Ravens.
Robison Out Indefinitely
Vikings defensive end Brian Robison will have surgery on a varicose vein in his left leg. The team says he will be out indefinitely.
