Childress: A Wake-Up For McKinnie

Brad Childress says Bryant McKinnie’s four-game suspension for violating the N-F-L’s code of conduct should serve as a wake-up call for the offensive lineman McKinnie can’t play until the Vikings’ week five game at New Orleans on October 6th. He still faces charges for an altercation outside a Miami bar in February. Childress says he supports the N-F-L’s decision to suspend McKinnie, saying accountability is a huge factor for his team. With McKinnie out, Artis Hicks is the starter at left tackle. Childress and several players say Hicks is well-prepared to handle the job.
