Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson says he will be the starter in next Monday’s season opener in Green Bay. After suffering a sprained MCL in his right knee, Jackson missed the final three preseason games, but says he’s feeling better each day. The Vikings open up the regular season in the spotlight as the Monday night game next week, but the story line won’t be the Purple. Monday marks the first regular season game for the Green Packers since the release Brett Favre. Rookie Aaron Rodgers will be the Packers starting quarterback this season.
