Vikings Sign Harris, Waive Tapeh

The Vikings signed veteran linebacker Napoleon Harris on Thursday and waived fullback Thomas Tapeh. Harris, who was released by the Chiefs earlier this week, racked up a career-high 116 tackles with Kansas City last season.  He also had one-and-a-half sacks, one interception and three passes defended while playing in all 16 games.

The 29-year-old has posted 449 tackles, seven-and-a-half sacks, four picks and 12 passes defended over his six-year career with Oakland, Minnesota and KC.  Harris played in 29 games with the Vikings from 2005-06 and totaled 84 tackles, three-and-a-half sacks and three picks.
