The Vikings signed veteran linebacker Napoleon Harris on Thursday and waived fullback Thomas Tapeh. Harris, who was released by the Chiefs earlier this week, racked up a career-high 116 tackles with Kansas City last season. He also had one-and-a-half sacks, one interception and three passes defended while playing in all 16 games.
The 29-year-old has posted 449 tackles, seven-and-a-half sacks, four picks and 12 passes defended over his six-year career with Oakland, Minnesota and KC. Harris played in 29 games with the Vikings from 2005-06 and totaled 84 tackles, three-and-a-half sacks and three picks.
