To say that Vikings DE Ray Edwards is not a happy camper over his recent $25,000 fine for hits against the Bucs two weeks ago is a bit of an understatement.  “No offense to women, but men don’t wear panties. We chose to play this game,” Edwards said Monday. “We don’t cry when we get cracked unexpectedly. That fine is what it is. Just got to go out there and play ball and have fun.”  Edwards is appealing the fine.  He was fined for a late hit on Jeff Garcia, and also a leg whip on an O-lineman.  In 10 games this year Edwards has 37 tackles and two sacks for minus 11 yards.
