Vikings coach Brad Childress may have a quarterback controversy on his hands. He named Gus Frerotte the starter for the rest the season back in September after two sub-par performances by Tarvaris Jackson. But T-Jack was more than capable in yesterday’s win at Detroit, leading the Vikings to a pair of second-half touchdown drives after Frerotte went down with a back injury. Childress praised T-Jack after the game, saying the third-year pro knew exactly what he was doing when leading the Vikings on their game-winning scoring drive in the fourth quarter. Jackson capped the drive with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Visanthe Shiancoe. It was Jackson’s second touchdown pass of the season in six games.
