U.S. District Judge Paul Magnuson has ruled in favor of five players who were suspended for violating the NFL’s Policy on Steroids and Related Substances.  Magnuson blocked the suspensions last week said the temporary restraining order will stay in effect until it’s terminated or altered by the court.  Minnesota’s Kevin and Pat Williams, and Charles Grant, Will Smith and Deuce McAllister of the New Orleans Saints were all hit with four-game bans for testing positive for a banned diuretic, but the judge’s ruling means the players will all be eligible to play for the foreseeable future.
