Peterson Speaks Out on the Four Sunday Fumbles

Running back Adrian Peterson says he put the football on the ground too many times in yesterday’s win at Detroit, and says he has to a better job in the future. Peterson lost the ball four times in the game, with the Vikings recovering three of them. The other fumble was overturned following a video challenge. Peterson fumbled twice in the Vikings’ first game against the Lions, with Detroit recovering both loose balls. Peterson did rush for 102 yards, the eighth time this season he’s passed the century mark in yards on the ground. He’s now 108 yards away from Robert Smith’s single-season team record set eight years ago.
