Garcia and Anderson May Be QB Options for Vikings

It seems more and more like the Vikings are going to do something in 209 when it comes to the QB spot, and today’s Pioneer Press talks about it in terms of a couple of QB’s they may take a look at.

It’s unclear what the Vikings’ strategy is. But if other avenues fail it wouldn’t be surprising if they were to try to trade with Cleveland for Derek Anderson as well as sign free agent Jeff Garcia of Tampa Bay or free agent Rex Grossman of Chicago. Anderson is due a $5 million bonus next month, and the Browns, who intend to start Brady Quinn, might have to waive Anderson if they can’t trade him.
