Vikings to Not Attempt to Extend Chester Taylor’s Deal

The Star-Tribune reports that the Vikings will not attempt to extend Chester Taylor’s contract this offseason who is entering the final year on his deal. Taylor has scored at least six touchdowns in each of the past three seasons, despite playing behind star running back Adrian Peterson. He has been a good sport as the No. 2 back, but many believe he has the ability to be an every-down back.
