Bus Cook Working The Magic

We previously opined that if anyone was able to pry Jay Cutler away from Denver, it’d be his agent Bus Cook. Well, it looks as if Cook might be laying the groundwork for getting jay out of Denver and into a new (and hefty) contract.

Channel 7 in Denver is reporting that Jay Cutler has put his house up for sale. Something tells me Cook had something to do with Cutler’s new-found interest in bailing on his real estate.

Other people are starting to catch on to the connection from Bus Cook to giant contracts and controversial trades. The Mile High Report speculated that Cook’s past could be telling of Jay Cutler’s future. Here’s some of that:

(You have all seen the IQ test or logic test questions where they ask you to “complete the next element in the series.”

Try to complete this series:

1. Largest rookie contract in NFL history. (Steve McNair, 1995)
2. Largest contract in NFL history. (Brett Favre, 1997)
3. First $100,000,000 contract in NFL History (Brett Favre, 2001)
4. Record setting contract paying out the most in the first three years in NFL history (McNair, 2001)
5. Largest non-QB contract in NFL history. (Randy Moss, 2001)
6. Innovative contract structure involving guaranteed money for Record setting Rookie contract. (Calvin Johnson, 2007)
7. ______________________________________??????

My guess, is it was supposed to read: Largest Contract in NFL History (Jay Cutler, 2010). All by Bus Cook.

One has to wonder what the next trick is that Cook has up his sleeve.
