Reason Number 109,701 We Love Adrian

CFT reports that Adrian Peterson and three other presently unknown players have helped to save a junior college football program in Northern Iowa. Due to financial concerns, the program was about to be cut after about 65 years of tradition. Peterson and friends came together to donate nearly $150,000 to the program in order to keep it alive for at least another season. The hope is that the donation will buy Northern Iowa some time to figure out a long-term solution.

I’ve watched Freeman his entire career at K-state and was NOT sad to see him enter the draft early. He’s a junior Brett Farve. Rises to the big game once in a while but tons of INTs and dumb decisions otherwise. His numbers were padded by coach Ron Prince, and there was once a rumor that Prince (no longer there as coach) and Freeman were a package deal to enter the draft (with Prince securing some sort of assistant coaching position). Freeman would NOT be an upgrade to Jackson. He doesn’t have a better arm, is less mobile, and has a way bigger ego. He’s just big, sizewise. But don’t let the numbers fool ya. He’s not an NFL QB, IMO.
