Tractor Tracking: Season Two – Episode Three

Ugh… I honestly was hoping this show would get cancelled after the pilot aired, but it’s obvious that this story line is one that’ll continue for awhile.  If you want to view a list of all the Brett Favre related events that have led up to today, then go back and see “Tractor Tracking: Season 2  – Episodes 1 & 2.”  Otherwise, here are the details of all the news that broke on what turned out to be a very busy Tuesday.

Sage Rosenfels did an interview with Sports illustrated in which he addressed the fact that the Vikings may not have enough confidence in him to resist the temptation of targeting Brett Favre.  Rosenfels has made a career out of going to teams in hopes of starting and then having the team bring in someone else to start ahead of him.  While Rosenfels said all the right things, the interview sure had a feeling about it that resembled Eyor saying “Oh, Bother” to Pooh Bear.

PFT had a reader send them a flight plan that showed a flight going from Hattiesburg to Green Bay and speculation of all sorts started flying around the web.  Not too long after, it was revealed that Brett’s wife, Deanna, was actually the one on the flight and was doubtless just heading there to see some friends or conduct business for charities that she still has in Green Bay.

Then the bomb hit…

ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that Brett Favre and Brad Childress have scheduled a meeting at an “undisclosed location” to discuss playing football for the Vikings.

Then, Jay Glazer reports that the Vikings are “split” on whether or not Brett Favre should be asked to join the team, and that it has not been officially discussed within the organization.

I’m so bummed that Favre is dominating news again for the Vikings this offseason, but I will post an update with my thoughts shortly.
