Today the supplental draft happened and Jeremy Jarmon was the only player taken. The defensive end out of Kentucky was taken in the third round by the Redskins. The Redskins will now forfeit their 2010 third rounder as a result of having Jarmon eligible to line up next to Albert Haynesworth this season. It has been reported that the Lions were willing and waiting to pick up Jarmon at the beginning of round 4 if he fell that far.
As expected (and predicted) the Vikings were not involved in the draft today. However, there are a handful of players that will now become undrafted free agents that may peak some interest in Winter Park.
While these players may be possible additions, the fact that they’ve already missed out on OTAs gives a bleak outlook on their future in the NFL.
