Childress Not Worried About the Health Issues Surrounding Rookie WR Harvin

Vikings rookie wide out Percy Harvin hasn’t exactly gotten off to the best of starts in his NFL career, already having two well-publicized emergencies, one of which caused him to be sent home from the recent rookie symposium.

That being said, head coach Brad Childress does not seem overly concerned about Harvin, and says that he’s not worried about the wide out’s health, and that Harvin will be the one laughing last at the symposium in 2010.

“You always worry about health concerns and making sure you get those things taken care of,” Chilly said. “[Percy]’s going to be there next year and he may be even speaking next year because he’ll have a lap around the track at that point and time. He’ll be able to lend a different perspective for all those rookies.”

It will be interesting to see the kind of early start that Harvin has when training camp kicks off for the purple.
