WR Percy Harvin Agrees to Five-Year Deal

ESPN.com’s Kevin Seifert reports that rookie first-round pick WR Percy Harvin has agreed to a five-year deal with the club:

The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with first-round draft pick Percy Harvin on a five-year deal.
Harvin, a receiver out of Florida, missed the first two days of training camp while his agent negotiated a contract.

But Joel Segal says his client will be ready to go for the Vikings’ afternoon practice Sunday. Coach Brad Childress has said that it was important for Harvin, the 22nd overall pick in April’s draft, to get into camp as soon as possible.

He’ll be asked to play a variety of role
