Just What The Doctor Ordered

I know Vikings.com is often just a bunch of fluff pieces.  I mean, it’s obvious that the Vikes won’t want to release a video featuring Adrian fumbling, T-Jack doing a no look jump pass to a ghost, and Benny Sapp getting burned three times in a row.  It just wouldn’t make sense for them to do that.

However, one thing you can rely on them for is a good video to get you pumped up for the upcoming season.  So here is a video they’ve put together.  While you watch it, keep in mind that it is edited to get fans excited about the season and get them to hopefully buy tickets.

Nonetheless, there are a few things to be noted in the video:

Harvin looks faster than anybody else on the field.

Fans who were screaming to see the Vikings use the WildCat last year can catch their first glimpse in this video.

Our receivers look much improved compared to what we’re used to.

Running Back Albert Young looks like he could be a pleasant surprise.

Is it just me or has Childress put on some weight?

Sidney Rice seems to be moving very well compared to last season.

Marcus Walker has about as much success covering Harvin than I would.

The huge turnout of fans to camp is evidenced in this video.

Bernard Berrian looks like he could really succeed in the “Run After Catch” category this year.

Peterson is continuing to work on pass catching.

Both T-Jack and Sage got chances to be wide outs during the WildCat formations.

So while this may not be “fair and balanced” editing considering the source, it should help to curb your appetite if you are like me and just can’t wait to watch some Vikings football.
