Pat and Kevin Williams are almost certainly going to be allowed to play the entire 2009 season.  A recent ruling went in their favor from a three-judge panel in the eighth circuit court of appeals.

According to Access Vikings, the case could possibly go to trial in Hennepin County sometime after the season.

While apparently the NFL can still appeal and this thing could end up hurting the Vikings still, there’s a very good chance that this will not be resolved until 2010.  Which means the Vikings will have Pat and Kevin available for the season.

That is a huge relief.
