The Vikings had a HUGE 2nd half as they decisevly beat the Browns 34 to 20. The offense was led by Adrian Peterson’s three touchdowns and the defense were led by cornerbacks Cedric Griffin and Antoine Winfield. More analysis on the way, so make sure to check back.

This Should Work All Season – Favre Hands Off to Peterson
He didn’t have to do all that much, and when it comes to Brett Favre and the Vikings, that’s going to be a winning formula in the 2009 season. Favre’s numbers were nothing short of – light – in Sunday’s 34-20 win in Cleveland. The best play call all day for Minnesota was Peterson right, [...]
Today’s Inactives
The Vikings inactive players are wide receivers Jaymar Johnson and Greg Lewis; cornerback Asher Allen; safety Jamarca Sanford; linebacker Erin Henderson and center Kory Litchtensteiger. Greg Lewis and Kory Litchensteiger are both newcomers, so it is not surprising. Jaymar Johnson is a bit surprising and means Darius Reynaud and Percy Harvin will get all the return duties. [...]

The Good News We’ve Been Waiting For
Pat and Kevin Williams are almost certainly going to be allowed to play the entire 2009 season. A recent ruling went in their favor from a three-judge panel in the eighth circuit court of appeals. According to Access Vikings, the case could possibly go to trial in Hennepin County sometime after the season. While apparently the [...]
Bobby Wade Sent Packing, Pick Up Lewis
On Thursday, the Vikings have decided to release the guy who led them in receptions the last two seasons. A week ago, Wade restructured his contract which made this season his last with the team and cut his pay in half for 2009. The straw that broke the camels back was apparently when receiver Greg [...]
