Vikings Roll to 5-0 with Big 38-10 Win Over Rams

The key to beating bad teams is simply to make sure they know early and often that they are not as good as you. Sunday in St.Louis, the Vikings did just that, taking care of business beating up a bad Rams team 38-10. The team went up 14-0 in the first quarter on an Adrian Peterson touchdown and then a 53-yard fumble return by Jared Allen, which seemed to suck any offensive life out of the Rams.
The undefeated Vikings made sure the Rams couldn’t think of any sort of comeback in the second half, as they outscored the Rams 21-7 to put the finishing touches on their fifth win of the year. Brett Favre, a day after turning 40, threw for 232 yards and a touchdown. Peterson scored two TD’s in the win.
The setback for the Rams was their NFL worst 15th in a row, and they didn’t help their cause with four turnovers. Kyle Boller finished 20 for 31 for 209 yards and missed the final 10 minutes after being hurt late in the third quarter. He was replaced by usual starter Marc Bulger, who hit Donnie Avery on a 27-yard TD pass late in the fourth quarter.
The Vikings actually only got 69 yards out of Peterson, but didn’t need much in the runaway win. Tarvaris Jackson even got in on the action, playing late and going 3-for-3 for 68 yards. The Vikings will have a big matchup next week at home vs the 3-2 Baltimore Ravens.

Matt, do you think Tahi will ever have another play like he did today stumbling down the sidelines. I vote no.

So, I was sad to not be witness to the game today, but I had radio calls and friends sending text updates, so that helped. But I cant find this Tahi play everyone is talking about.

Starr, they finally tricked someone on the pass to Tahi. He didn’t have to do much.

Vikings is undefeated because they have Favre. Every time he plays, he always make the crowd yell.
